Jesup Chamber of Commerce
Mission Statement
The Jesup Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Jesup Area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, industrial and commercial climate with secondary emphasis on cultural, civic and educational interest of the area.
We invite all business owners to make a commitment to creating first a business community, then a community at large that has a loyalty to their local businesses second to none.

How to Join
We welcome and encourage new members to make our Chamber more successful. Please call President Rodney Duroe at Farmers State Bank (319) 827-1050 or City Hall (see contact information below) for information on how to join.
Member Benefits
- Events and programs such as the Annual Banquet where local leaders and groups are recognized. Community Leadership Program offers training opportunities that invest in the members of our community.
- Liaison for business - we support and work closely with the Jesup Economic Development Foundation that actively pursues business opportunities coming to Jesup. They have been anintegral part of bringing more than 250 new jobs to Jesup over the last 10 years.
- Member Programs/Functions - there are sponsorship and volunteer opportunities that allow local business people the opportunity to be visible in the community and give back to Jesup.
- Publicity and Exposure - The membership directory through the web site gives you coverage and visibility to people outside of our community. The directory is also listed in welcome packets given to each new member of the community.
- Being a member increases your creditability and your networking opportunity!
- Every March the Chamber sponsors the Jesup Business and Home show. As a member you can participate in the show which allows you to showcase your business to the community.
