Welcome To Values, Visions & Missions

Welcome to the Values, Visions and Missions portion of the new City of Jesup Web Site. The VVM`s are made up of a group of citizens in our community that want to see things happen as the city grows and moves forward.
When we began, our group tackled the following statement:
"To position Jesup as a vibrant growing community we need to do"
More (what's happening in our community that we want to see more of)
Same (what's happening in our community that should continue as is)
Less (what's happening that we need less of)
Needless to say, there were many ideas from this initial meeting and we have earmarked some of them to work on, namely:
Youth Activities, Elderly Living, Housing Incentives, Leadership Training, Beautification
This past year, we have been instrumental in helping to coordinate the summer ball program, tree planting in our newest City Park, Liberty Volunteer Park, working on the construction of the City`s new entrance sign, begun planning for a retirement facility in our community and we have surveyed our youth for a perspective of our town from their eyes.
Finally, members of the VVM`s have worked diligently on designing this new web site that you are looking at. Hopefully, you find the new web site interesting and informative for our community. Stay tuned for continuous updates from our group.
