The City Clerk's office is the link between the residents of the community and their government.  The Clerk's office is the historian of the community for the recorded history of the City.  The City staff serves the Mayor, and is called upon daily for services and information.  The Clerk's office manages the financial and human resources functions for the City.  Maintaining accurate records is a vital function of this office.  In addition, this department coordinates and maintains the City Code, as well as covering proceedings of the City Council.

Here you will find billing information on utilities such as water, wastewater, storm water, and sewer services.  Various fees and permits are issued through the Clerk's office including building, electrical, plumbing, home business, peddlers, cigarette, golf cart registrations, and liquor licenses.

If you have any questions, or are looking for specific information, please call City Hall at 319-827-1522 and we would be glad to assist you.
